The beginning of October 2017 was a time of celebrating the 25th anniversary of Aromat-Vertex. After a quarter-century I am proud to say that the two core values we based our business on years ago, still prove prevalent today.

Our relationship with our clients is of the upmost importance, as the very basic element of running a company like ours. We always do our best to be close to the people we work with – to help them work through challenges, to find new ways of achieving their goals and to be as flexible as possible.

In addition, we are always developing, never stagnant. We consistently improve our skills and capabilities, as well as look for new opportunities. That is why we extended our lab and storage facilities and the people on our team are focused on clearly specified areas of expertise.

Our advantages

Our warehouses

With more than 400 sq. metres (4305 sq. feet) of storage space available in our warehouses, including specialized areas for storing products in low temperatures (to -20°C or -4°F), we are capable of quick logistic and delivery service.

Application lab

To ensure we fully understand the products we offer, each one of them is tested in a special laboratory by creating product applications for the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries in small amounts.

Specialized team

Our specialists have clearly specified areas of expertise with products and consulting. We are experienced, have developed very precise skills and are up-to-date with new trends

Mobility and flexibility

We adjust to our clients’ needs and requirements in regards to deliveries, communication and availability. We're not afraid of a challenge and always assist in finding solutions to any situaion, which is why we plan sales and logistic processes thoroughly.

Company's milestones

  • 1992

    The year I started the one-person company "PPHU Aromat", I focused on selling essences and food flavors to small producers in Greater Poland, Lower Silesia and today’s Lubusz Province areas. The office and storage room combined weren’t much bigger than the application lab we have now, and the main tools of the trade were a landline telephone and car – no one could even dream of the Internet, e-mail or a laptop.

  • 1993

    During the first year I managed to extend our product portfolio and thus could start cooperation with liquor, candy and ice-cream producers. That was also the year I brought the first employee onboard, which made it possible to divide sales, business management, client-service and administration.

  • 1994

    The time came to reach higher and go beyond Poland. We began cooperation with foreign suppliers (a decade before EU accession!) and were able to make huge improvements to our portfolio and, as a result, our sales records, especially with flavors for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

  • 1996

    After four years of operating we decided we wanted to create a family company and focues on business development together. The team consisted of four specialists and in order to adequately divide business areas we started a second company, "PW Vertex". As we were also in the process of finding new suppliers and extending our product portfolio, we needed to expand our office and storage space.

  • 1997

    What made the fifth year of operation really extraordinary was the creation of new business relationships with two foreign suppliers, who would be essential to our development in the coming years. It mainly included products for the dairy and meat industries, but our portfolio of additives for beverage production also expanded. Our food products portfolio was well-developed, which meant more clients and more orders.

  • 2000

    The start of the new millennium had us moving to a newly finished location, an office and storage building located in Kobylniki near Kościan. The move meant new advantages: greater storage space, comfortable office conditions, and also better access because of its proximity to Polish national route 5.

  • 2004

    This was the year of Poland’s accession to the European Union and the unprecedented opening to the West. For many companies interested in expanding their business to Poland, the best way was to find a local partner and distributor. We made lots of new business relationships that really pushed us forward in the years that followed, many of them still exist today.

  • 2007

    A milestone marked our 15th year of operation. The business relations we had made thrived and together with our new partners we expanded our business with completely new categories of products: for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry. In the very first year alone we managed to gain clients from among the biggest brands on the market.

  • 2008

    Even though we put a lot of effort in developing new cosmetic and pharmaceutical areas, we never forgot about the food industry. Before 2007 we had focused mainly on sweet products, but this year a new "savory" line was developed and it created new possibilities of working with clients from the meat, fish-processing and food concentrates industries.

  • 2013

    Thirteen years after moving to our office in Kobylniki, the building was remodeled – new offices, social room and storage space, together with a new cold room and freezers were added. We also started an application lab that made it possible to try every single product "in action", learn its characteristics and strong points. This dynamic year was crowned with a prize for "Best performing Partner of Symrise" from our key foreign suppliers.

  • 2015

    A year of growth and progress in many directions. We began to implement processes within the ISO 22.000 system, assuring food safety at every stage in the food production process . We also established cooperation with new suppliers in both the cosmetic and food industries, as well as new clients – among them many well-known consumer brands.

  • 2017

    An exceptional year - in October we celebrated twenty five years of business on the market. Who would have thought that a small company started in the early 1990s could develop so much? Even though we have coped with many adversities during these two and a half decades, I believe the courage to take every chance of development to be the true heart of our company. In moments like these I look forward to what the future will bring and how we will celebrate the next twenty five years, in 2042.
